Every great builder has an origin story. Robert Fleming's begins with his mother, Phyllis Fleming — a woman who believed in her son's dream before he had the words to fully describe it. When Robert was a teenager, Phyllis bought him his first nail bags and drove him to job sites across Southern California so he could land his first position in construction. That act of faith set everything in motion.

Robert started as a framer, learning the trade from the ground up under the mentorship of Rob Bowen — a craftsman who helped shape not just Robert's technical skills, but his standard for excellence. Framing became more than a job; it became a calling. Robert developed a reputation for precision, speed, and an instinctive understanding of how a structure comes together that few in the industry could match.

In 2001, Robert took the next step — earning his contractor's license and founding RTF Platinum Construction, the company that would eventually become Fleming Development. Over the past 25 years, Robert has been part of hundreds of projects across Southern California, earning recognition as one of the finest framers in the region and building a growing reputation as a general contractor whose greatest strengths are problem-solving and the ability to orchestrate subcontractors to deliver projects on time, every time.
